Banca Progetto
Banca Progetto is a challenger bank specialising in services for small and medium-sized Italian companies and private customers that has seen astonishing growth since 2019. The driving force behind this accelerated growth is to be found in the people who work at and for the bank: in the last two years the number of employees has more than doubled to 220 people today.

Banca Progetto decided to digitise performance management as a central process of human resources development, to make growth more sustainable and to maintain a working environment conducive to personal and professional development.
In this context, Banca Progetto chose Ccelera as its SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals consulting and implementation partner, to innovate, streamline and make the performance management process more efficient, as part of the broader digitisation effort already under way in all the bank’s processes.
CHALLENGE
Harmonising business processes and integrating them with each other in a short period of time did not prevent innovating following all the best practices provided by the SAP SuccessFactors tool.
For Banca Progetto, addressing labour sustainability means tackling the most delicate challenges facing companies and people in the near future: from continuous training to flexibility, digital transformation and agile work as a new way of individual and collective well-being.
SOLUTION
The SuccessFactors Performance & Goals module is a performance management system based on merit-based promotion and subsequent differentiation in the evaluation of the contributions made by individuals through sharing and transparency. The performance management process was made more effective through the involvement of all stakeholders, such as HR staff, managers and employees.
Thanks to the long list of SuccessFactors projects that Ccelera has developed with major Italian and foreign groups and companies, it has been possible to integrate and maintain the culture and specificities of Banca Progetto both in terms of language and the characteristics of the tool and the process.
Special attention was paid to change management and employee involvement. The result is an innovative digital process that is able to facilitate all actors involved thanks to its specific characteristics and functions, and for the realisation of which the effective collaboration between the teams of Banca Progetto and Ccelera was strategic.
