CHALLENGE
Almost 400 projects were implemented in 2021 alone, of which 119 were in Italy in 42 locations.
Save the Children Italy wanted a solution that would allow them to have a more agile, simple and transparent travel and expense reporting process with the goal of making all travel management easier, both domestically and internationally.
The project therefore required the involvement of both on-site and off-site staff in the reorganisation of the processes.
SOLUTION
Save the Children redesigned internal processes by digitising and automating them with the help of SAP Concur and Ccelera. With SAP Concur Expense, it’s possible to digitise business expenses by streamlining and optimising the administrative tasks related to travel and expense management. This transparent, efficient tool is accessible from both PCs and mobile apps and is easily used by all involved.
The SAP Concur system has also helped Save the Children in the reporting of expenses with respect to institutional donors thanks to its integration with credit cards and its Expenslt (OCR) functionality that allows the necessary information to be captured by analysing photos of receipts.
