Save the Children Italy: interview with SAP Concur

Martina Garau

October 20, 2022

Save the Children Italy is part of the global Save the Children movement, which today is operational in 120 countries worldwide with a network of 28 national organisations. The non-profit organisation aims to help girls and boys by giving them the opportunity to grow up healthy, receive protection and education, and secure their future.

Almost 400 projects were implemented in 2021 alone, of which 119 in Italy in 42 locations.

Save the Children Italy wanted a solution that would allow them to have a more agile, simple and transparent travel and expense reporting process to make all travel management easier, both domestically and internationally.

The project involved both on-site and off-site staff, with the aim of improving the entire process. Save the Children redesigned its internal processes by digitising and automating them with the help of SAP Concur and Ccelera, whose support made it possible to optimise the administrative activities related to the management of travel and expense reports thanks to a transparent and efficient tool.

Watch the interview with Silvia Contini, Head of the Financial Division, and Enrico Parmeggiani, Head of the IT Department at Save the Children Italy.
